Impact of the Montgomery Bus Boycott
After her arrest Rosa Parks refused to ride the bus. This was a form of protesting. She got many other African Americans to protest with her. Many African Americans used to ride the bus everyday. When they began to stand up for themselves, and protest the bus the bus companies began to lose a lot of money. At first they didn't mind but when they realized how much money they were losing they began to get anxious. 75% of the passengers were African American.

. Many people were affected by this boycott and they weren't happy. Some harassed, threatened, and even hit or threw objects at African Americans. Yet some approved of the boycott and were glad African Americans were standing up for their rights. Some were bothered and irritated but continued on normally. Yet as the boycott goes on the harassment gets worse. African Americans begin to get threatening phone calls, homes are vandalized and burned.
