Rosa Parks Arrest
Rosa Parks was on the bus, the bus was over crowded and a few people were standing. In this time African Americans were forced to give up their seats for any white people having to stand. But when Rosa Parks was told to move from her seat, she refused. This resulted in her arrest. Since she was a civil rights activist she thought this would just be a small protest, little did she know this small act would turn into a big civil rights movement. She did not regret being arrested, she knew it was wrong. She wasn't the first one to get arrested for standing up against discrimination. But she had the most impact.
